Attending the ceremony were Mr. Jiro Nishiyama – General Director of JVF, Mr. Nguyen Ba Chuyen – General Director of SZB, together with representatives of both companies’ management boards.
At the event, SZB and JVF signed an annex to extend the land lease contract at Go Dau Industrial Park for another 20 years, following the initial 30-year lease contract signed between the two parties in 1995.
JVF was established on September 27, 1995, with a total investment capital of nearly USD 40 million contributed by two major Japanese partners: Sojitz Corporation (75%) and Central Glass Co., Ltd. (25%). The company specializes in producing NPK fertilizer using steam granulation technology, with production lines imported from Japan and an annual capacity of 350,000 tons.
After 30 years of operation at Go Dau Industrial Park (Dong Nai Province), JVF has become a well-known fertilizer brand in Vietnam, with a distribution network stretching from North to South and strong exports to countries such as Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Japan.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Ba Chuyen – General Director of SZB – stated: “Vietnam–Japan Fertilizer Company has been one of our long-term and loyal customers at Go Dau Industrial Park. The signing of this 20-year land lease extension annex demonstrates the trust, close partnership, and strong commitment of both parties for the next stage of cooperation.”.
The General Director of SZB also expressed his belief that JVF will continue to grow sustainably, contributing even more to Vietnam’s and the region’s agricultural industry, while creating practical value for the community and society.
