SNZ and SZB were honored by HNX in the evaluation period 2021-2022

At the 2022 Annual Business Conference held on November 18, the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) awarded 10 large-scale public enterprises (SOEs) for information disclosure and transparency and 10 listed companies performing the best corporate governance (CG) evaluation period 2021-2022.

According to HNX, the set of evaluation criteria and the implementation of the evaluation of enterprises are conducted according to the approach based on the investor's perspective. The set of criteria for evaluating the quality of information disclosure and MB in 2021-2022 includes 72 criterias, including 7 new criterias according to good practice with the goal of promoting enterprises not only towards implementing compliance disclosure, but also towards voluntary implementation in accordance with international practices. There are 306 SOEs evaluated in this program, accounting for 83.8% of the total market capitalization of UPCoM.

SNZ and the Companies that won the UPCoM Certificate of Excellence Award on UPCoM perform well in information disclosure and MB in 2021-2022

It is known that this is the second time that SNZ has been awarded the UPCoM certificate by HNX for good performance in information disclosure and transparency. Sonadezi Corporation has operated as a share holding company since February 1, 2016 with a charter capital of VND 3,765 billion, SNZ shares have been traded on the UPCoM market since November 20, 2017. According to the consolidated financial statements of the third quarter of 2022, the total assets of Sonadezi Corporation reached nearly VND 23,000 billion, and the parent company alone reached more than VND 4,690 billion.

Sonadezi currently has 6 member companies that have listed shares on HOSE, HNX; 5 member and SNZ traded shares on UPCoM. In which, Sonadezi Long Binh Share Holding Company (SZB) was listed on the HNX from December 20, 2019 with a charter capital of VND 300 billion. SZB's total assets reached nearly VND 1,327 billion (as of the third quarter of 2022).

Also at HNX's 2022 Annual Business Conference, SZB was one of 10 companies awarded the Enterprise Listed on HNX with good corporate governance in 2021-2022.

In the condition that the stock market is facing many difficulties and unpredictable movements, investors' confidence is declining, the activity of honoring typical enterprises of HNX has contributed to spreading efforts to implement regulations on information disclosure and corporate governance practices of enterprises. At the same time, creating more motivation for enterprises to improve the quality of information disclosure and transparency, gradually approaching and implementing advanced corporate governance practices. The program also continues to affirm the message: Corporate governance is an important factor for the sustainable development of enterprises, improving investor confidence, market efficiency and promoting economic growth.

The Organizing Committee awards enterprises listed on HNX with good corporate governance in 2021-2022 to SZB and a number of enterprises

According to the Report on the results of the program to assess the quality of information disclosure of public enterprises on the HNX in 2021-2022, the large-scale public enterprises companies with a high state holding rate tend to perform better in disclosing information. The equitized enterprises with the title of Chairman of the Board of Directors and the CEO separately have better results in information disclosure than those with the title of Chairman of the Board of Directors concurrently with the General Director.
