Sonadezi Long Binh achieved revenue exceeding VND 500 billion

On January 8, 2025, Sonadezi Long Binh Shareholding Company (HNX: SZB) held the 2024 Business Performance Review - 2025 Plan Launch Conference and the 2025 Employee Conference.

2024 was a challenging year for Sonadezi Long Binh due to ongoing global economic volatility. However, with effective management and the dedicated efforts of its staff, Sonadezi Long Binh surpassed its targets, marking a significant achievement for its 15th anniversary (2009-2024).

VND 535 billion is the revenue Sonadezi Long Binh achieved in 2024, a record high in the company's 15-year history. This result represents an increase of over 30% compared to 2023. Of this, the industrial zone infrastructure business segment continued to be the main pillar, contributing VND 386 billion, accounting for 72.14% of total revenue.

VND 193 billion is the after-tax profit Sonadezi Long Binh achieved in 2024, exceeding the 2023 performance by over 60%. Concurrently, the company also surpassed its annual budget contribution target by more than 10%.

05 DDI and FDI projects attracted by SZB with a total estimated investment capital of approximately USD 18 million. This is the result of intensified promotion efforts targeting investors from various countries, particularly Chinese investors, in 2024.

150 staffs participated in training courses in 2024, covering topics such as enhancing middle management capabilities, risk management, updates on new Land Law regulations, greenhouse gas inventory and reporting...

In addition to business operations, SZB actively participates in community social activities not only in areas where Company has projects but also in other localities. Notably, these activities include donating houses of gratitude and providing funds for house repairs for disadvantage families in Ben Tre province, as well as donating computer labs to students.

In recognition of its efforts in business operations and social activities, SZB was honored to receive the Top 100 Golden Star of Vietnam Award in 2024.

Accordingly, the company set a target of VND 450 billion in total revenue and VND 127 billion in after-tax profit.

To achieve 2025 plan and lay the foundation for the next phase, Sonadezi Long Binh will accelerate the exploitation of its remaining land fund while diversifying its products and services with plans to invest in the construction and operation of industrial clusters and service operation centers. The Board of Director also identified key strategic factors for 2025 as maintaining the stability of existing operations while creating new development opportunities through cooperation with strategic partners both domestically and internationally.

Also at the conference, Ms. Luong Minh Hien, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, expressed her sincere gratitude to all employees for their significant contributions to achieving impressive results in 2024. She also shared future orientations with Board of Directors and staff. She emphasized that to achieve the targets for 2025 and consolidate the foundation for the next five-year period, SZB needs to focus on researching and developing projects following green and sustainable trends, as well as proactively implementing sustainable development (ESG) practices and greenhouse gas inventory, with appropriate and specific programs and plans in project management and employee training.
